摘要

Laser shot peening forming is a modern technology, which centralizes the plastic forming and laser processing, which employs the residual stress induced by the intense laser to shape precisely the plate. In this paper, the aluminum alloy 2024-T3 was regarded as object to study experimentally relationship between the magnitude of deforming and the numbers of laser peening. The specimen with dimensions 75mm X 20mm X 1.2mm impacted along the centerline by intense laser with the wavelength of 1.064~μ m and the duration of 23ns. The experimental results show that the height of arc of specimen deformation becomes greater with the numbers of shot peening increasing and eventually the magnitude of deformation arrives to saturated state and increase not obviously after multi-impacts. On the base of experiments, FED, whose unit code was C3D8, was employed to simulate the deformation induced by intense laser. The results of simulation are in accordance with the results of experiments, which indicates the simulation can play directional role in optimizing technique parameters in the laser peening forming.
