The sinterability and magnetic properties of NiCuZn ferrites have been investigated using our newly developed fine iron oxides. The sintering temperature of NiCuZn ferrites using the fine iron oxide was 20℃ lower than that using a conventional spray roasted iron oxide. The temperature to form Spinel phase was reduced with Cl content concurring with previous studies using a conventional iron oxide. Initial permeability deteriorated directly with Na content. These results mean that it is important to keep the amounts of Na and Cl in the fine iron oxide to a low and constant level.
