摘要

In this paper a gesture recognition based interface for a PC racing game called “Car Drifting”. We have developed the four skeleton gestures which will help us to interact with the computer to play car drift game using Kinect sensor. The interactive version of the game will recognize the body skeleton gesture as per the angle of hand skeleton gesture it will take command or input to the system to play game. We have implemented the game as playable and enjoyable using Kinect sensor. In our System we have introduced four gestures namely Forward, Right, Left and Normal and it will perform the operation with a slight delay. These gestures operations are checked in different scenarios with respect to distance and light intensities. We have confirmed that the interactive version of the car drifting game using a gesture recognition based interface is more real and exciting to play than the keyboard based game.
