Research on the Velocity Exponent of Viscous Damper

摘要

The velocity exponent of viscous damper is an important design parameter, which has obvious influence on the effectiveness of earthquake-reduction. From two aspects in engineering design, the effect of different velocity exponent of viscous damper on structure seismic response is discussed in this paper to give some reference for engineering design.
