ASPECTS REGARDING THE MAINTENANCE OF A GP INFORMATION SYSTEM IN THE FRAMEWORK OF A SENTINEL DISPENSARY NETWORK

This paper presents aspects regarding the maintenance of a GP software application - MedINS, designed to be used in the framework of a national level network - MediNet. There is presented a short history of the evolution the application had, identifying three stages of the development of MedlNS that describe the most important steps that led to the improvement of the quality of this application. The necessary time allocated for each maintenance activity is estimated relatively to each stage of the software development, being drawn several conclusions regarding the MedlNS application.
