摘要

This report applied various histogram equalization (HE) methods proposed by researchers to overcome the drawback of generic HE for Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) images. Among of the HE methods, there are namely Bi-Histogram Equalization (BBHE), Dualistic Sub-Image Histogram Equalization (DSIHE) as well as Recursive Mean-Separate Histogram Equalization (RMSHE). The authors apply and compare the above three techniques on Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) images.
