Fingerprint Attendance System Based on Embedded Linux and WeChat Official Accounts

With embedded technology and Internet technology widely being used in many fields, in order to allow companies and institutions of staffs to get attendance data more conveniently and effectively, this paper has studied and designed a fingerprint attendance system based on embedded Linux and WeChat Official Accounts, which runs in a social software whose usage rate reaches 94% of Chinese huge cities. This research uses ARM9 as the master chip, transplants Linux3.12.10 operating system, applies fingerprint identification module to obtain attendance data, uses WIFI module connect to the cloud server in order to send and receive attendance data. This research connects cloud server to WeChat server, so that cloud server can process attendance data request and send the company message pushing from WeChat client. This design achieves fingerprint attendance in the embedded terminal and stores the data in the cloud. WeChat terminal real-time access to attendance data and company's message pushing. Therefore, attendance data is transferred in real-time and conveniently, reducing the cost of a separately developing attendance APP and web pages.
