e4-Government: Redefining Wealth of Nations

The wealth of a nation is intrinsically the overall health and continuing growth of a country in terms of economical strength, the well-being and productiveness of its citizens, progressive measures in labor, environment, and education, as well as the synergetic, mutually beneficial trade agreements and relations with other nations. We investigate the infrastructure of an electronic government network, where the wealth of a nation is intimately dependent on the harnessing knowledge wealth within an intelligent network structure. We introduce the concept of the e4 government: an efficient and effective electronic government and where the citizens are educated of its accessibility to them. We define knowledge wealth as pre assigned and pertinent country indicators, processed and analyzed over a given period. We envision that it is in fact the symbiotic mix of knowledge wealth within the cohesive and efficient intelligent network architecture that lead to substantial economic and social progress of a nation. We show the IN superstructure as a fundamental component in the architecture since it allows the deployment of the e-Government services in any part of the world, irrespective of the existing types of communication network infrastructure.
