A Real-time Multi-tasking Operating System for a Microcontroller

摘要

This paper describes the development of a real-time multi-tasking operating system for a single board microcontroller. The development of the kernel is described which includes the following operations: task management, inter-task communication and synchronisation and interrupt management for the I/O operations. A simple test program is written to verify the functions of the operating system and test results are described.
