The evolution of impedance in coin cells upon accelerated ageing is dependent on both SOC and temperature. There is no significant difference in the impedance of cells pulsed or held at a target SOC. To elucidate between the different contributions to the coin cell impedance, three-electrode measurements and material characterisation investigations must be undertaken on harvested electrode material.
