摘要

Intracerebral delivery of glial cell-line derived neurotrophic factor by poly(lactic acid-co-glycolic acid) microspheres was evaluated in a rat model of Parkinson's disease. This study showed a significant behavioral improvement of the rats due to the sprouting of the surviving dopaminergic fibers toward the implanted microspheres.
