摘要

The discovery of metamaterials brings about a great shock to people's viewpoint about the world. It is of great scientific significance and application prospect. Metamaterials based on slant H split ring is used as the cover of microstrip antenna in this paper. Simulation by Ansoft HFSS shows that the resonance frequency is reduced by 0.07GHz by using metamaterials. At the same time, the gain of the antenna is increased by 1.16dB and the lobe is reduced by 24 degrees.
