Fatigue Analysis of Drillstring Threaded Connections

This paper deals with fatigue analysis of threaded connectionscomparing results with experimental results. The fatigue initiation liferesults of the tests were assessed using the strain-life approach. Thestrain life approach is demonstrated to be effective in dealing with anumber of design variables for fatigue crack initiation problem ofcomplicated details.
