Buildings constructions with wood structural panels have generally good acousticperformances due to multilayer panels also used for thermal purpose; however theevaluation method proposed by the EN 12354 standards not always gives exact predictionsdue to intrinsic limits of the simplified method.In this paper results of in situ acoustic performances of a new building construction withwood structural panels (12-16 cm thick) are analysed. High levels of airborne and impactsound insulation performances of floors are measured and an analysis of the influence ofdifferent layers covering the structural floor panel is presented.Flanking transmission paths due to different junctions between floors and lateral walls arealso investigated in order to compare measured and calculated values according toEuropean standard.
