摘要

This paper present an innovative cryptosystem proposed for an authentication dongle. It consists of challenge-response system based algorithm implementation on hardware as well as software part. Several cryptographic principles such as discrete logarithm, one-time pad, random nonce, confusion and nested hashing are used to make the cryptosystem reliable. The cryptosystem algorithm also have low response time & addresses several problems like trusted client problem and hardware cloning.
