In our daily life, owing to a strenuous schedule, it is not always feasible to nurture a plant in the proper manner. The task of understanding the specific requirements of individual plants and maintaining them is entirely laborintensive as well as time consuming. In this project, a method to technologically handle the process of fostering the desideratum of all plants have been proposed which focuses on making the job of monitoring a plants requirements easier. The proposed technology comprises of four modules namely, Moisture Detection and Rehydration Module, Temperature and Humidity Detection Module and Light Detection Module. Each module checks the specific parameters and consequently initiates the appropriate action. Firstly, the moisture detection module examines the moisture level of the soil at all times and on the basis of the data obtained it rehydrates the plant when required. Secondly, we have the temperature and humidity detection module which keeps track of the mentioned physical parameters and a Piezo buzzer connected to it indicates the prerequisite action to be taken if the parameters fluctuate. Then, we have the Light Detection Module which monitors the optimal light which is required for the sustainable growth and development of the plants. Arduino Uno is connected to Cayenne for fulfilling the above mentioned operations without the presence of any manual-labor. The proposed technology can be utilized as a home gardening solution, can be used for very sensitive plants which requires utmost care and lastly, provides a solution to meet the required moisture levels automatically.
