Auditory Illusions in the Brain after Visual/Auditory Training

Expecting auditory function in the temporal lobe, visual stimuli were provided to the volunteers after the perceptual feedback training procedure. During feedback training, volunteers were expected to relate certain visual source to particular sound source. In this paper, we show that feedback training noticeably improved listener's abilities to associate visual action with particular sound source. These results may suggest that simple perceptual training can effectively show how illusions operate in the brain.
