Creating and Installing Design Methodology Framework

摘要

This paper details an approach which was used in creating and deploying Design Methodology Framework at Cirrus Logic. It addresses the challenges faced by a multi-site, multi-product and multi-culture company such as Cirrus or by a team of several companies working on a common development project. This paper covers the need for creating a common methodology, identifies the importance of sponsors and contributors from within the design communities of the companies, the scope of the methodology, approach to creating the methodology, approach to deploying it and strategies for making it a living document. It also provides an outline of an example Design Methodology Framework.
