Study on Impact Factors of Beijing Residents Selecting Public Vehicles

摘要

It is significant for structure planning and policy formulation of urban public transit to study main impact factors of urban residents selecting public trip modes. A specific questionnaire has been designed about trip characteristics for the residents in Beijing. Four factors including trip cost, trip distance, and vehicle interior crowding degree and waiting time have been confirmed that they are the main impact factors by using contingency table analysis and single factor analysis of variance.
