摘要

The strategy of Chinese Small and Medium Private Enterprises (SMPEs) can neither be simply defined as belonging to Industry/Organization module or Resource Based View, nor belonging to one of the three competitive strategies which were proposed by Porter. In Chinese business practice, most private entrepreneurs rely on enhancing certain guanxi. The paper proposes a strategic guanxi perspective for SMPEs to construct competitive advantages. An analysis framework is also introduced.
