This paper tries to investigate the correlation of particulate pollutants in Shanghai by the Correlative Analysis and the Principal Component Analysis, including ambient particulate matters and gaseous pollutants. Especially, PM10 and respirable fractions of ambient particulate matters are correlatively studied. Samples are coming from the typical traffic areas by TSI 8520, TSI 8554 and SwemaAir300. Results show that there is a significant correlation between particulate matters, and the same conclusion is made for the relationship between CO and PM. Results also illuminate that the respirable factions contribute most to PM10 and Respirable Particulate Mass is the main factor of deteriorating air quality and producing adverse effects on health.
