COSMIC - PC-BASED SOFTWARE FOR SAFETY AND TOTAL QUALITY

COSMIC is the acronym for Computerized Operational System Model for Integrated Control. It may be used with many popular brands of Commercial Off-The-Shelf, COTS, software in a simple, yet powerful, application for creating interactive models for planning. COSMIC prototype software consists of common database, text, and spreadsheet structures and forms templates for analyzing and integrating technical, safety, health, environmental, reliability, and Total Quality with structured problem-solving, including Life Cycle Costing. It uses database record objects that correspond to spreadsheet event objects in diagrams of fault trees, decision trees, TQM 'fishbone' maps, and operational system models.
