Review and Analysis of Electric Spring for Power Quality improvement

摘要

In this paper a new device which will make our loads smart will be discussed. With introduction of electric spring the problems which arise due to intermittent nature of renewable energy source will be removed to a great end. This paper will also show the shift in the method of reactive power control and how it is better than previous methods. It will be shown that how this new paradigm that is the load demand follow the power generation will help in reactive power control. This paper will concern with how this device will improve power quality in isolated networks and how it can be used in electrical power systems where power is generated with use of renewable sources.
