In wireless communication system, the design and performance evaluation of any transceiver can be achieved with the aid of an approximate channel model. Since, there are different communication channels with dedicated transceiver structure and signaling, the availability of a generic channel model for the entire channels is very useful. This paper presents the development of wireless channel simulator that is based on Affine class of functions. This simulator is developed using the LabVIEW®. The Affine class of representation considered here is the time-scale model, in which the signaling and reception scheme is designed using the wavelet bases. The simulation results show the channel responses as functions of the power delay profile.
