摘要

For the first time, the design of a compact eight band frequency independent dual circularly polarized planar log periodic antenna, is presented here. The designed antenna covers eight bands within the frequency range from 650 MHz to 3500 MHz simultaneously for RF energy harvesting. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first ever compact eight band designed antenna covering various wireless standards (Digital TV band, Cellular bands, Wi-Fi bands and WiMAX band) with highest gain of 7.7 dBi at 3.5 GHz and good axial ratio in almost all the bands.
