摘要

This paper presents effective algorithms for CAD data conversion. Complex vendor CAD data is converted application-specific to an EM simulation optimized reduced data set. The algorithms reduce the complexity of the CAD data without impairing the electrical behavior for the targeted EM simulation. The resulting dataset is significantly reduced in size to be handled easily by 3D EM simulation tools.
