Supply chain management is a critical aspect of conducting any business. The use of Lean Supply Chain Management (LSCM) practices can aid companies manage their supply chain efficiently and competitively, helping to minimize variability and waste. Thus, to deal with these increasingly complex and highly uncertain systems, simulation-based optimization (SBO) has been a suitable tool to provide satisfactory results in a feasible time. In this context, this work compares the performance of the (SBO) for the implementation of pull-production system in a lean supply chain, with the current scenario supply chain under study, which uses push-production. The analysis showed that the SBO had significantly better results than the current scenario.
