Traditionally, it is developed independently on the electric simulators which are used widely in the satellite's desktop electric integration testing system (DEITS). With the fast development of Chinese astronautics project, now this traditional development mode does not satisfy the new requests in the developing process of electric simulators, which focus on the short period, low cost, steady performance, high reliability, convenient function modification and update, and so on. With the research on PXI-bus testing technology and the new requests mentioned above of the development of electric simulators, an idea of designing a new development platform which can be used to develop electric simulators efficiently is presented. It is designed and realized based on the PXI-bus testing system hardware platform. Then, the new development platform is applied to develop target measurement systems electric simulators used in some satellite's DEITS. The feasibility and validity of the new development platform are proved by the experimental results.
