PARAMETRIC SIMULATION OF SEMI-SWATH SHIP RUNNING IN FOLLOWING REGULAR WAVES

Ship motion in sea wave normally moves in a dynamic of periodic surging motions. In following sea waves, the ship mayrnhave some conditions such as; the ship is trapped in between the crest of waves; the ship overtakes the waves or the shiprnalong with the wave’s celerity. In a high Froude number, the high steepness waves can lead the ship in to surf-ride condition.rnEven the ship can experience acceleration to the trough of wave and cause the bow diving happens. The dynamic stabilityrnproperties in relation to the ship behaviour such as, surf-riding and bow-diving were very important issue of safety in the sea.
