In this study, the experimental results of shear-deficient T-beams strengthened using web-bonded LshapedrnCFRP laminate strips are presented. Four large-scale reinforced concrete beams werernfabricated and tested to failure. The reinforcement details of the beams are identical and they havernbeen designed to exhibit shear failure. Three of the beams were shear strengthened with thernexternal CFRP reinforcement at different spacings. The main aim of the study was to investigaternthe shear failure mode of the T-beams strengthened using the CFRP L-shaped plate system. Allrnbeams were instrumented to determine the contribution of the CFRP system. Advancedrnphotogrammetry measurements were carried out as well to study the relative movements betweenrnthe CFRP reinforcement and the concrete. The results are not reported here.
