摘要

Tumen River is an international river shared by the Democratic Peoples Republic ofrnKorea(DPRK), Russia Federation and the People’s Republic of China(PRC). For that reason, thernTumen River basin has not been developed yet, even though it has lots of potential in water supply andrnhydropower. In this study, rainfall-runoff analysis for estimating water balance and sediment dischargernin the river basin was simulated in order to use the outputs for water resources planning. The thankrnmodel was presented to forecast discharge based on practical variograms, and key parameters ofrnvariant functions were also estimated by genetic algorithms as one of the optimal search method. For arnsimulation, some information on topographical, hydrologic and rainfall data was examined.
