RELIABILITY ASSESSMENT USING THE DAC METHOD

摘要

The paper deals with pipe reliability assessment using discriminant analysis/classification (DAC method) based on pipe characteristics. Pipes are divided into two groups based on whether they have failed at least once or not. Several scenarios are being analyzed, based on simple and joint variables. The goal is to examine the discrimination and correct classification of pipes and assess their reliability. DAC method has been applied in oil and gas pipe networks and is now being checked for water pipe networks.
