摘要

This paper reports the investigation of two algorithms of surface-tracking method, which were implemented in a fully 3D hydrodynamic code with a near-wall model, for computation of free surface elevation in an open channel with complex geometry. The experimental results of Yen [8] in S-shaped channel are used for comparison with the calculation results of free surface deformation. Both algorithms' results show good agreement with experimental data. However, the study showed the method proposed by Huang [2] could achieve a better numerical performance and relatively higher accuracy result.
