THE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF A HOT-ROLLED FERRITE BAINITE SHEET STEEL

摘要

The research and development of a hot- rolled ferrite-bainite sheet steel with minimum UTS ≥ 490MPa designated for automotive manufacturing industry are introduced. The results of laboratory study showed that the optimal chemical composition of the steel is 0. 08C-1. 10Mn-0. 03Nb. The most appropriate controlled rolling, controlled cooling and coiling parameters are: FT 860～880℃, a 3-stage cooling regime with T_1 650 ～ 700℃, and CT 450～550℃. Industrial trials were then carried out. The microstructure, mechanical properties, manufacturing-related processing properties, and application performance of the trial-produced hot-rolled ferrite-bainite sheet steel are introduced.
