C_6 F-ketone has been shown to be excellent candidate alternative to ozone-depleting compounds that has the right combination of performance, safety, environmental properties, and commercial acceptance. It is a new molecule that is part of a newly developed patent pending technology platform expected to be a sustainable long-term halocarbon candidate to replace halons.
