Succession planning is a practical and effective tool to identify, train, and develop potential managers. Selecting ethical managers becomes a vital issue if an organization wants to have sustainable performance. This paper demonstrates that succession planning, management, and ethical climate have strong and integral relationships. To explore these relationships further, TSMC, primarily a technology manufacturing company in Taiwan, was discussed and used to demonstrate these relationships.
