Group Detection V-BLAST Receiver in Flat MIMO Channels

摘要

V-BLAST receiver is effective technique in achieving high data rate in wireless communications. However, the complexity of V-BLAST is very high because much time must be consume in performing linear nulling, successive interference canceling and sorting, and the application of V-BLAST is limited. In this paper, a low complexity group V-BLAST based on MMSE is proposed by introducing the idea of group multi-user detector in flat MIMO channel. The performance of algorithm is evaluated based on computer simulation. The simulation results indicate that the performance of the propose group-VBLAST based on MMSE outperforms ordinary V-BLAST in narrowband MIMO channels, and the complexity of new scheme is very low compared to the V-BLAST.
