摘要

The occurrence of dynamic recrystallization (DRX) in ferritic iron was proved in IF steel and 18Cr ferritic steel by detailed microstructural and microtextural examinations of the hot-compressed and quenched specimens. DRX of ferrite occurred at higher temperature and at smaller strain.rate in both materials. The occurrence condition (nucleation condition) of DRX could be expressed as, Z < A (constant), using Zener-Hollomon parameter (Z). An isolated nucleus model supposing the introduction of the region with large local misorientation in deformed material was proposed for nucleation. This model could explain the above nucleation condition consistently.
