摘要

In this work a numerical model of the spreading of retardant by an airplane isrnproposed. The problem is complex, involving multiphase flows on a very large global scale andrnvery small scales as far as rheology of the retardant, turbulence of the air or creation of dropletsrnare concerned. Rheological behaviour of French Sécurité Civile retardant is investigated. Thisrnleads to a computationaly cheap closure hypothesis for the description of the flow through arnVolume-Of-Fluid one-phase modelling. Results of these simulations are compared tornexperimental ground pattern from the A.C.R.E. European project. To conclude, capabilities of thisrnD.N.S.-way of computing are evaluated in regard of forthcoming turbulence or L.E.S. modelling.
