An Experimental Study on Organization of Information Resources of Archeological Materials (remains)、 taking as an Example of Clay Figurines of JOMON period in Japan

The cultural and historical materials have been exessively various, and many of them are fragment of old times'. Therefore, in many cases, it is difficult to set the consentaneous information from then. Further, there are not formarized the system of information management of them in japan. It's very troublesome to design and to construct these data base. For adjusting the these problems, we have analyzed and organized the information of Clay Figurines of JYOMON period in Japan, in expecting general information on many cultural and historical materials. This study has been proceeded about for 10 years. This paper mainly describes and basic model of information and control system discussed in eary reseach activities, the methodology and experimental results in actual reseach activities and the present conditions and future works.
