摘要

The findings of this study suggest that excessive material inputs caused by degraded catchment, water quality degradation and eutrophication are identified as the major problems affecting the biogeochemical processes and ecological health in Thale Noi Wetland. It is also understood that changes in hydro-metrological regime and human interactions play a big role in altering the carrying capacity and resilience of this system. This knowledge has important implications for sustainable development management to improve Thale Noi Wetland catchment and it aquatic ecosystem health.
