摘要

An image-memory LCD with novel memory elements using a ferroelectric thin-film to realize super low-power consumption has been proposed. By means of an equivalent circuit model of the LCD using a discrete ferroelectric device, a memory operation with gray-scale levels has been confirmed. Reduction in power consumption was estimated to be less than 10~(-4) for confirmed holding time.
