摘要

In order to develop a high-efficiency plasma display panel(PDP), new test panels were developed with a UV reflection layer and a visible light reflection layer. As a result, luminous efficiency of both of matrix structure and coplanar structure types were improved to be more than 150% of conventional panels. Especially, 3.41m/W(Xe70%) was performed in the matrix structure. In addition, with the aim of reducing phosphor degradation caused by ion impact during discharge, especially in the matrix structure, fine phosphor grains with protective coating were applied.
