摘要

The aluminate phosphor of alkali earth elements activated by divalent manganese concerns to one of the most perspective systems for application in PDP. In this work, the possibility of creation of a modified green emissive phosphor with increased efficiency based upon the known BaAl_(12)O_(19):Mn structure was studied. The choice of the indicated phosphor is connected with its high thermal and operational stability (resistance), as well as more saturated green emission color and shorter afterglow in relation to standard zinc silicate phosphor for CRT. The influence of partial substitution of aluminum ions in a cation sublattice by boron ions was studied. Objects of researches were two concentration series of barium aluminates samples distinguished by a different barium and aluminum ions ratio: Ba_(1-x)Mn_xAl_(12-y)B_yO_(19) and Ba_(0.96-x)Mn_xAl_(11.76-y)B_yO_(18.6), where 0≤x≤0.5, 0≤y≤1.
