RANGE-IMAGE AND ITS BORDERLINE EXTRACTION

摘要

Scene borderline extraction is not only one of important means in non-contact dimension and shape measurement, but also one of key links in scene characteristic extraction in pattern recognition. The scene borderline is extracted from its range-image, which is able to make up the borderline lost by less gray difference among objects in its 2D intensity image and reduce the false borderline made by the noise. In the first place, our rangefinder to obtain range-image is introduced based on structured light method. In the second place, our method to extract borderline from range-image is introduced. In the end, the experiment results are given and discussed.
