This paper studies low cycle fatigue (LCF) and creep of CMSX-4 Ni-based superalloy at high temperature and different loading conditions. The objective was to develop a fatigue life parameter that can successfully correlate the fatigue lives. The analyses were performed on the basis of LCF and creep test data on CMSX-4 and published data for the same material. The anisotropic behaviour of this material can be described by the change of the modulus of elasticity in different directions. The material exhibits small-scale plastic strain in relation to the total strain. To assess the fatigue lives and creep - fatigue interaction different lifing parameters were applied. In order to account for different applied hold times an additional function was introduced.
