Lapping apart from grinding and next honing process is mostly present in practice as a method of abrasive machining. At the same time it makes an essential method of surface treatment by means of loose abrasive material. In order to determine a workpiece stock removal, when lapping, a method of artificial base was used. When testing a special attention was paid to an influence of unit pressure and a type of abrasive mixture on the surface roughness. The less sizes of abrasive micrograins, the less influence on lapping removal is exerted by the type of grains and a value of unit pressures.
