摘要

The use of electrospinning in the field of tissue engineering is mainly concentrated towards formation of non-woven mats of different biomaterials to biomimic physical dimensions of native extracellular matrix (ECM) [1]. Poly(a-hydroxy acids), and specifically polylactic acid (PLA), are amongst the most well know bioabsorbable materials and have been used in numerous applications such as sutures, pins, screw and drug delivery systems [2]. The incorporation of nanofillers such as HAp into the nano scale polymer matrix may gain enhanced mechanical, biological and other related properties for tissue engineering applications [3].In this study electrospun non-woven mats of PLA and PLA/n-HAp were fabricated for the construction of scaffolds for tissue engineering.
