Antiresorptive and anabolic agents hav< differing effects on the ratio of low to high-mineralize< bone [1,2]. Using Synchrotron radiation micro-computed tomography (SRuCT), an ovariectomized (OVX) rat model for osteoporosis treated with antiresorptive agent alendronate (ALN) and/or anabolic agent parathyroid hormone (PTH) was studied to determine the effect on tissue level mineralization throughout the bone.
