The dynamic interaction between endothelial cells (EA.hy926) and single fibrils of gelatin was studied. Particular focus was paid to the cellular motility and the characteristics of cytoplastic protrusions. The effect of ROCK inhibition on these two aspects were also investigated. The results are hoped to further our understanding in the role of ECM fibrils in guiding angiogenesis.
